Mildred Blank

Mildred (Caponegro) Blank, passed away peacefully in Wilmington NC during the early morning of March 11, 2025, at 98 years old.  Millie was the youngest daughter and seventh child of Dominik Caponegro and Carmella (Imperatrice) Caponegro, and the last survivor of 8 children. She taught elementary school in New York and New Jersey and worked for Suffolk County Child Protective Services for many years.  She was predeceased by her beloved husband of nearly 50 years, Ray T. Blank, Sr., in 2000, her parents and all of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her four children, Ray Jr.(Alicia), Gary (Ava), Kenny (Carol) and Laurie (Blank) Pacala, 9 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
