Nancy Ann Ocello was born to Joseph and Victoria Jerz on May 4, 1934 in Dixmoor, Illinions. Nancy grew up the Depression Era and attended St Sussana RC School. She married Frank Peter Ocello on May 4, 1953. He was a drummer in the Ray Reynolds Quintet. Together they traveled throughout the United States. Sharing some of the best times of their lives. After 4 years of playing music they decided to get off the road and settle down in Brooklyn, NY. They started a family, they had one son, Frank Joseph Ocello. Ironically enough, he too was born on May 4th. They moved to Bayshore, NY in 1972, where they lived for 48 years. She loved cooking and caring for her home. Nancy remained married for 63 years until her husbands’ passing in 2016. Nancy leaves her son, Frank J. Ocello, and her grandchildren: Alyssa Marie, Frank Jr. and Melanie Rose, as well as one brother, Raymond Jerz. She will be missed and remembered by all.
