We lovingly remember Richard Reich, a resident of Smithtown, NY for over 55 years, who passed away peacefully on December 21, 2023, at the age of 85.
Richard is survived by his wife, Catherine, and two sons, Keith (Beth) and Kevin (Lori). He leaves behind five wonderful grandchildren: Maggie, Erin, Sean, Hailey, and Will.
A cherished younger brother, Gerard, also survives Richard, along with his nephew Scott.
Richard was an avid sports fan, closely following the Dodgers, Jets and Rangers. He was a graduate of Sewanhaka High School and a proud member of their legendary lacrosse program. He was most importantly, a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations in his name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital) or Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (Donate to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center - MSK Giving)
