The community lost a great man who was genuinely liked by everyone he met. He was known very well around Smithtown and St. James. Bobby had so many friends; from Smithtown High School to working locally - he never forgot a face.
Bobby was a regular man, he worked hard day in and day out, never with a complaint. He always provided for his family and was proud to do so. A husband, a father, a grandfather, a brother, a fisherman, a chef. Bobby was many things, but most of all loved by everyone. He always had a good story to tell and loved to kick back and relax with a cold beer and good company.
Married 40 years to his high school sweetheart, Francine, with 3 daughters Gina, Michelle and Andrea, 1 heavenly granddaughter, Angelina, and 5 grandchildren Luciano, Gianna, Nina, Josie, and Frankie- he is their hero and forever guardian angel.
Bobby was a family man, aside from his wife, children, and grandchildren, he was a loving son, brother, father-in-law, neighbor, and friend. He took pride in his work both on the job and at home. He loved planting his vegetable garden every spring, watching it bloom, and enjoying the fruits (and vegetables) of his labor. His grilling was top notch, he could make a meal out of anything. His Macgyver abilities were never to be dismissed. He was a fun loving guy who could talk to everyone.
His family and friends are devastated by his loss. He is truly and greatly missed by all.
