It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Alexander Soper. Wednesday, August 25th marked the end of a years-long battle characterized by innumerable highs and lows.
From the very beginning, Bobby was full of life and always managed to keep his family on their toes. Whether it was setting a roll of toilet paper on fire when he was two years old or adding a whole jar of cayenne pepper to the Sunday sauce while no one was looking. Some of us still swear that we haven’t fully regained our taste. Thankfully he maintained his love of cooking and treated us to some less traumatic meals.
All joking aside, Bobby was brilliant in an effortless way. He had an understanding of the world around him as if he had lived a thousand lives. Despite this wisdom, he was always eager to learn more. He didn’t care for many people, but those that were fortunate enough to earn his affection will admit that there was nothing like it. Bobby had many unreached goals when he passed, but given the chance we’re sure he would have surpassed them all.
