Roger Patrick McClean entered eternal life on June 21, 2023. Roger was born March 6, 1950 in New York City to the late Ruth and George McClean. Roger was an amazing husband to Virginia, great dad to Michelle, Paul (Jonathan), Roy (Lisa), Lisa (Michael) and best Boppie to Joseph and Anthony. Also, a beloved brother to Brian (Joe), Scott (Mary), Ronald (Beth), Colin (Laurie) and Ralph (deceased), fun loving brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle and great great uncle to many. He was also a loving and loyal friend.
Roger was a Vietnam Navy Veteran who loved his Country and proudly displayed the American Flag. Roger retired as President Emeritus of C.F. Peter’s Corporation. He started in the stockroom working his way up to President where he was a larger-than-life presence in the Peter’s family for 50 years. He was also co- owner of Have You Heard? Inc. in Bellmore for over 25 years and long-time member of the Chamber of Commerce of the Bellmores. After his cancer diagnosis he proudly volunteered at Bayhealth Hospital for the kindness and compassionate care he received while he was a patient.
