Susan Marie Devlin

On Monday, 5/29/23, Susan Marie Devlin (nee Heslin), originally from Brooklyn, formerly residing In Baldwin, N.Y., passed away peacefully after struggling for 5 long years. While Susan tried her best to remain connected to her family & friends, the loss of her beloved husband Neil Jr. combined with her chronic illness was too much for her to overcome.  We grieve her loss, but we take comfort knowing that Neil & Sue are together again.

She is survived by her 3 devoted sons, Neil (Kathleen), Kevin (Annmarie) & Edward.  God blessed her with 5 grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Dan), Patrick, Timothy, Kevin Jr. & Grace. She recently had the extra blessing of her great grandson Thomas. 

Susan is survived by her siblings Edward (Corrine) Heslin, Nancy ( Harris) Berloe, John ( Patricia) Heslin & Eileen (Dennis) Conklin. She was the beloved aunt & great aunt to many nieces & nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Susan’s name to The Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church Religious Education Program, as Susan was a religious educator there for many years & taught in the Roosevelt school district for the bulk of her career as a special education teacher.
